About Us After many years in the interior design industry, we decided that there was a better way to do it. We teamed up and the result is StudioMetro, LLC. We're different because we are both creative and competent — artists and business people. StudioMetro is a member of BPN (Best Practices Network), an elite group of interior design firms around the country. The BPN selects up to 100 non-competing members nationally, who must be committed to cutting edge business practices, including new project management techniques, technology, training, and interior design techniques. Interior design is a complex process, not only dedicated to the aesthetic portion of design but also to the operational aspects. Many projects involve working with architects, builders and property owners, sometimes ordering hundreds of products, from doorknobs, to sofas, to rugs, and track and manage the delivery and installtion of products and services. Our principals, Cynthia Peacock and Lynn Williamson, are active members of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) and have also earned their CAPS (Certified Aging-in-Place Specialists) from the National Association of Home Builders University. They are introduced below. Their individual credentials are impressive in their own right, but together combine to present a unique proposition for you, the client: A business-like creative services firm (an oxymoron if we've ever heard one!) |
Lynn WilliamsonMs. Williamson has more than 20 years of experience in Business Operations Management. Her resume includes Sales and Account Management, Project Management, and Operations Management — both domestic and international. Ms. Williamson holds two bachelor's degrees: a bachelor of science in business (human resource management) from Geneva College and a bachelor of fine arts in interior design from Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. She graduated summa cum laude at both institutions and was class valedictorian at RMCAD. She is an allied member of ASID, and expects to sit for her professional examination in early 2008. |
