The StudioMetro 4-D Design Process

We thought that the typical interior design process was too complicated, too drawn out and just too much like a secret handshake. Has anyone except a designer ever heard of schematic design development? We didn’t think so either, so we invented our own!

We distilled the process down to four easy, descriptive steps: Discover, Define, Design and Deliver. Kind of catchy, but they also describe the value and flexibility StudioMetro brings to your project.

DISCOVER: We explore your fantasies, dreams & desires, aspirations and needs through interviews, conversations, photo-referencing and on-site observations.

DEFINE: We perform a careful inventory of your existing space, furnishings, color preferences and positive/negative associations. Preliminary color and finish selections are selected and we start to home in on your custom solution.

DESIGN: This is when the magic happens! Design solutions are customized to your specific circumstances as outlined in the Discover and Define phases. You are as involved as you want to be – from active involvement to hands-off.

DELIVER: We provide timely, efficient, hassle-free project management from start to finish. This includes communications, billing, installations, and post-project survey or interview.
